Scope

Objectives 

  • Develop scalable STEM education programs using AI, IoT, remote labs, and digital learning platforms, targeting students from underserved communities.
  • Create mentorship pipelines connecting students, researchers, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs to support career progression, leadership training, and research opportunities.
  • Encourage women-led research, patents, startups, and industry collaborations, leveraging global IEEE platforms and academia–industry partnerships.
  • Support women-led initiatives addressing sustainability, healthcare, cyber safety, and innovative infrastructure, aligned with UN SDGs and IEEE humanitarian activities.

Execution Strategy

  • Education & Capacity Building: Launch global and regional Women-in-STEM learning modules, hackathons, summer schools, and certification programs using hybrid delivery models.
  • Mentorship & Leadership Development: Establish structured mentorship frameworks, leadership bootcamps, and peer networks across academia, industry, and IEEE communities.
  • Research & Innovation Support: Facilitate grants, proposal writing workshops, patent mentorship programs, and innovation incubators for women researchers and students.
  • Community Outreach & Inclusion: Expand initiatives similar to TECH GIRLS and Cyber spearheads to reach rural and underprivileged communities, promoting digital literacy, cybersafety, and climate awareness.
  • Partnerships & Policy Engagement: Collaborate with universities, industry partners, IEEE societies, and government agencies to scale impact and ensure policy-driven sustainability.
