Systems Council Awards and Recognition The Systems Council offers several awards, which are typically presented at one of the two flagship conferences: IEEE International Systems Conference (SYSCON) IEEE International Symposium on Systems Engineering (ISSE) The Awards Committee has established the following nominations processes for each of its awards. Gray, the scholarship recognizes students pursuing studies in process control systems engineering, plant automation or instrumentation & measurement. More details IEEE Fellow IEEE Fellow is a distinction conferred by the Board of Directors upon select IEEE members whose extraordinary accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest are deemed fitting of this prestigious grade elevation. The total number selected in any one year does not exceed one-tenth of one percent of the total voting Institute membership.
