Veerpratap Meena graduated from the Govt. Engineering College, Bikaner, India with B.Tech. Degree in Electrical Engineering in 2018 and completed his M.Tech. in Power System Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) in July 2020. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur, India. The focus of his Ph.D. research is on approximation and controller design for continuous and discrete interval systems. He is chair of the IEEE Student Branch MNIT Jaipur, Chair of IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society Student Branch Chapter, Chair of IEEE Systems Council Student Branch Chapter, Chair of IEEE Biometrics Council Student Branch Chapter at MNIT Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. He contributed to the body of knowledge by publishing several research papers in international journals and conferences. His research interests include electric vehicle, power system analysis, dynamics, system modelling, controller design for desalination systems, interval systems, model order reduction, applications of optimization algorithms power systems, power electronics, artificial intelligence, control analysis, power system operations, grid integration, and energy management techniques. He is student member of IEEE, IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society, IEEE Systems Council, IEEE Biometrics Council, IEEE Young Professionals, IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society, IEEE Industry Applications Society, IEEE Control Systems Society, IEEE Council on Electronic Design Automation, IEEE Nanotechnology Council and IEEE Council on RFID. He has served as General Chair, Program Chair, and program committee member of several international conferences and workshops.
