Mission
The Committee shall facilitate industry engagement activities within IEEE Systems Council, identify and act on opportunities and gaps, launch initiatives, and recommend to Systems Council AdCom needed development of products and services that meet the needs of industry, government, and industry professionals.
Functions
- Gather input from industry leaders and professionals that will help Systems Council AdCom develop strategic directions related to the needs of industry, government, and industry professionals.
- Support engagement and relationship building with industry, government, and industry leaders.
- Help Conferences and Technical Committees form their own industry engagement structures so as to facilitate Systems Council engagement with Industry.
- Advise Systems Council AdCom on the development of products and services that would meet the needs of industry, government, and industry professionals.
- Remain knowledgeable concerning activities of the IEEE Industry Engagement Committee and interact where beneficial to Systems Council and the IEEE.
- Develop semi-annual reports on the activities, successes, and challenges of the Committee.
