Niklas Arvidsson received the Ph.D. degree in business administration from the School of Business, Economics, and Law, University of Gothenburg, Gothenburg, Sweden, the title of the dissertation is “Essays on operational freight transport efficiency and sustainability.”

He joined the Logistics and transport group with VTI, Linköping, Sweden, in 2018 as s Senior Researcher. He has previous industry experience from Supply Chain Management and Logistics Project Management in the automotive industry. His research interests include energy and transport, and also in City logistics with a focus on the Last mile, Business models, and Low carbon distribution—financial, operational, as well as technical/ICT aspects.
