Our Goal

 The goal of the Women in Systems Engineering page is:
  1. To motivate women to consider Systems Engineering as their area of study and career.
  2. To showcase the important work performed by Systems Council Participants working in the discipline.

THE IEEE SYSTEMS COUNCIL SUPPORTS THE IEEE WIE MISSION:

"To connect, support, and inspire women and girls worldwide, and facilitate their recruitment and retention in STEM fields, fostering technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity."

IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) is a global network of IEEE members and volunteers dedicated to promoting women engineers and scientists and inspiring girls around the world to follow their academic interests in a career in engineering and science.

WiSE in the News

Annette D. Reilly, a Senior Life Member of IEEE, received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the IEEE Standards Association. She was honored for her contributions to the international standardization of information development and software engineering processes.
