Bridging Systems Thinking and Entrepreneurship
Systems engineers are uniquely positioned to turn complex ideas into real-world impact. That’s where IEEE Entrepreneurship comes in, and why I’m excited to serve as the liaison from the IEEE Systems Council to IEEE Entrepreneurship, alongside my role as IEEE Systems Council Industry Chair.
IEEE Entrepreneurship is a global IEEE initiative focused on helping engineers, researchers, and technologists transform innovations into viable products, startups, and scalable solutions. It provides education, mentoring, competitions, and connections that support the full journey from idea to impact. Whether your chapter, initiative, or project is exploring commercialization, innovation programs, or startup opportunities, IEEE Entrepreneurship offers resources designed to accelerate impact.
IEEE Entrepreneurship complements IEEE’s deep technical excellence with practical, market-focused insight. Importantly for Systems Council initiatives, it embraces systems thinking, recognizing that successful ventures depend not just on individual components, but on how technology, users, business models, and ecosystems fit together.
