"Introduction to Systems Engineering" by Professor Ahmed Hassan

The webinar series "Systems and Education" has been initiated to breathe new life into the activities of the IEEE Egypt Systems Council Chapter. The first workshop has already been conducted under this initiative. The inaugural workshop, which took place on 31 January 2024, featured an engaging online session titled "Introduction to Systems Engineering," led by the esteemed speaker Professor Ahmed Hassan. With his extensive expertise and practical insights, Prof. Hassan delved into the advantages and real-world applications of systems engineering, equipping participants with strategies to tackle complex challenges in the field. This session provided invaluable insights into the core principles of systems engineering. The workshop was organized in collaboration with the esteemed Egypt University of Informatics, alongside IEEE EUI SB, IEEE EUI Computer Society SBC, and IEEE EUI Communications Society SBC. We are thrilled to continue this collaborative effort and bring forth more enlightening events in the future, as we work together to revolutionize education.

"Systematic Analysis for Educational Program Evaluation" by Professor Passent El Kafrawy

On 5 February 2024, an insightful online session was held, focusing on "Systematic Analysis for Educational Program Evaluation," led by the distinguished Professor Passent El Kafrawy. Professor Passent El Kafrawy is a computer science expert with a remarkable 18-year academic career. She attended national and regional conferences addressing technological advancements and challenges. With her vast knowledge, Prof. El Kafrawy illuminated the power of systematic analysis in evaluating educational programs, providing practical techniques for assessing program effectiveness and optimizing educational initiatives. This webinar is part of a series to revive the activities of the IEEE Egypt Systems Council Chapter. The session was in collaboration with the prestigious Egypt University of Informatics, IEEE EUI SB, IEEE EUI Computer Society SBC, and IEEE EUI Communications Society SBC as part of the "Systems and Education" initiative.

"Automotive Systems Engineering Explained" by Mostafa Kassem

On Saturday, 24 February 2024, in collaboration with Egypt University of Informatics, IEEE EUI SB, IEEE EUI Computer Society SBC, and IEEE EUI Communications Society SBC, an enlightening talk on "Automotive Systems Engineering Explained" was held by Engineer, Mostafa Kassem, a skilled Staff Automotive Systems Engineer at Avelabs. This session dove into the essence of Systems Engineering, its critical role in the automotive industry, and why it matters. We explored its application in automotive systems, alongside real-life examples demonstrating its impact on Software Development Life Cycles (SDLCs). The talk also covered the challenges and trends in this field, and concluded with insights into the future of System Engineering in automotive. This was an essential session for professionals and enthusiasts keen on understanding the intersection of system engineering and automotive advancements.
