Integrated Energy Systems Status and Future Works
Presentation Menu
Integrated Energy Systems (IES) play a critical role in improving energy efficiency and enabling large-scale renewable energy integration. This talk presents an overview of the current status and future directions of IES, covering system architecture, key technologies, and practical applications. The modeling and operation of coupled electricity, gas, thermal, and transportation systems are discussed, with emphasis on energy hubs, multi-time-scale analysis, and optimal control strategies. Key topics include virtual power plants, demand response, and the integration of electric vehicles as flexible resources. Real-world demonstration projects are introduced to illustrate high renewable penetration and system performance. Future challenges and research directions toward sustainable and intelligent energy systems are also highlighted.
