Lone Star Section Joint Chapter Celebrates IEEE WIE Day 2026

On June 23, 2026, the Lone Star Section joint chapter partnered with the Women in Engineering (WiE) Affinity Group to host a luncheon meeting at Southwest Research Institute to celebrate 2026 IEEE WiE Day. The theme this year is “Technology with Purpose: Innovate Responsibly, Inspire Globally, Lead with Integrity.” A women’s leadership panel consisting of Jenny Ferren, Janice Grantz, and Angel Wileman (all from Southwest Research Institute) discussed what it meant to lead with integrity.
