2026 IEEE Systems Council Officers Retreat Held in Lisbon, Portugal

The 2026 IEEE Systems Council Officers Retreat took place in Lisbon, Portugal, from 25–26 January 2026, bringing together Council leadership for focused strategic planning and collaboration.

Over the course of the retreat, officers engaged in in-depth discussions to generate and share strategic visions for the Council in the coming year. The sessions provided an opportunity to reflect on current initiatives, identify priorities, and explore new ideas to strengthen the Council’s impact and service to its community.
