The preparation for the IEEE International Conference on Recent Advances in Systems Science and Engineering (RASSE) 2022 has officially started.

The IEEE RASSE 2022 conference will be held at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) in Tainan, the southern part of Taiwan.  The conference is being organized under the leadership of Andy Chen, IEEE Systems Council Vice President of Conferences, and Pau-Choo (Julia) Chung, Professor at the National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) Electrical Engineering Department. The local organizing committee met at the conference venue on March 17, 2022. The meeting was held in hybrid mode with the international committee members joining virtually.

IEEE International Conference on Recent Advances in Systems Science and Engineering (RASSE) aims to create a high-profile, leading-edge, interactive forum for researchers, engineers, practitioners, and educators to exchange state-of-the-art research results and innovations, to discuss industrial practice, and to define the future research topics in all aspects of systems science and engineering.

The conference will feature an Industry Forum. The Industry Forum is a new integration for IEEE Systems Council’s conferences. It is designed to help facilitate a bridge between research and industry.  The Industry Forum will feature industry speakers and panels that discuss the technical directions of industry and, most importantly, its challenges. Conceptually, the attending research community may be studying or wish to study the challenges discussed. Industry Forum speakers come from the Research and Development divisions of companies that understand the technical challenges and/or business strategies for a company.  The Industry Forum concept is not a product marketing event; but rather a program where industry presents their technology challenges and researchers, if interested, attendees may contribute and engage to solve the challenges discussed.  The conference will also host a series of PhD Forums, Tutorials, Workshops, and Special Sessions. Anyone interested in organizing a PhD Forum, Tutorial, Workshop, and Special Session during IEEE RASSE 2022 is invited to contact the respective chairs.
