Steve Doskey currently leads the effort at the MITRE Corporation to integrate model-centric design and digital engineering practices into complex systems development for transportation and aerospace. He has over 35 years of experience leading systems engineering projects and research initiatives in support of the U.S. federal government.
Steve has taught in graduate programs at several universities and is currently an Adjunct Professor in the Systems Engineering and Operations Research Department at George Mason University. His current research interests include the impact of human cognition and behavior on system design, AI agents as partners and collaborators in system design and operation, and understanding the impact of AI on complex, adaptive systems of systems. Steve holds a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from George Washington University, and an MBA from the College of William and Mary, and a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from George Mason University.
