Rahma Fourati is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, Economics and Management of Jendouba University in Tunisia and a Senior Member of IEEE. She is also a member of the Research Group in Intelligent Machines (ReGIM-Lab), where she focuses on developing intelligent, energy-efficient, and ethically aligned AI systems. Her research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence, model optimization, and cyber-physical systems, with particular emphasis on model compression, brain-computer interfaces, and green AI.
 
She is actively involved in interdisciplinary research initiatives that promote reproducibility, efficiency, and ethical deployment of AI. She has published in top-tier venues and serves as a reviewer for IEEE and major AI conferences. As General Chair of the IEEE ICCSIC 2026 conference, she is also contributing to the global AI community through leadership and outreach. She is passionate about advancing energy-aware AI systems that are not only intelligent and powerful but also sustainable and widely accessible.
