Muhammad Saad is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science at the UCF, where he is also a member of the Security Analytics and Research Lab. He researches on the security of distributed systems, with an emphasis on the attack surface of blockchain systems. His work has appeared in reputable conferences and journals including IEEE Systems Journal, IEEE Communication Surveys and Tutorials, IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing Systems. One of his earlier works on blockchain-based audit logs won the best paper award at DLoT 2018.
