Huaming Wu received the B.E. and M.S. degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology, China in 2009 and 2011, respectively, both in electrical engineering. He received the Ph.D. degree with the highest honor in computer science at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany in 2015. He is currently a professor at the Center for Applied Mathematics, Tianjin University, China. He was an academic visitor at the University of Melbourne’s Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems. He was included in the "World's Top 2% Scientists" list by Stanford University in 2021, 2022 and 2023. He won the Publons Top Peer Reviewer Award 2019, Exemplary Review Award 2022 in IEEE Transaction on Communications, Excellent Reviewer Award 2022 in IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering, and Outstanding Reviewer Award 2018 in Future Generation Computer Systems. He also serving/served as Associate/Guest Editor in IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management, IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, IEEE Systems Journal, Journal of Systems Architecture, Vehicular Communications, Computer Communications, Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics, Software: Practice and Experience, Journal of Cloud Computing, etc. He serves as General Chair, Program Chair, Track Chair, Workshop Chair, Publicity Chair, Student Forum Chair, Session Chair, or TPC Member of a number of international conferences. He has published more than 100 papers in top-tier journals and conferences such as IEEE TMC, TPDS, TSC, TC, TKDE, TII, TCYB, TNNLS, TVT, TCC, TCSVT, TNSM, TNSE, TSUSC, TCBB, TGCN, TCSS, TOIT, TETC, JBHI and IoT-J, with 8 ESI highly cited papers and 3 ESI Hot papers. He is an IEEE Senior member, and an ACM member. His current research interests include Edge/Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Edge Intelligence, Vehicular Communications and DNA data Storage.
