Dr. Emre Ozsoy received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2003, M.S and Ph.D. degrees in Control and Automation Engineering in 2008 and 2014, respectively, all from Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Turkey. He has 14 years of industrial experience in electrical and automation engineering from 2003 and 2017. He was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at University of Johannesburg, South Africa from 2017 to 2018 focusing on Robust control of grid connected voltage source inverters under asymmetric voltage conditions, DC-DC boost converters for solar power applications. He worked as Senior Control Engineer at Danfoss Drives on developing Grid/Motor Control architectures, algorithms, and requirements for Harmonic Mitigation Techniques of Electrical drive systems from 2018 to 2025. He currently works at Rockwell Automation as Senior Control Firmware Engineer. is a senior IEEE member, and active member at harmonic emissions working groups standardization activities (IEEE 519 , IEEE1547, IEC SC77A/WG1 , USNC)
