Senior Member of IEEE. Dr. Majumdar received his Ph.D. in RF microelectronics from IIT Kharagpur, India, in 2016, and since 2017 has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at NIT Meghalaya, India. He has authored over 90 publications, including journals, book chapters, and peer-reviewed conference papers, and holds two granted patents. His career is also distinguished by 15 sponsored projects worth one million dollars, alongside numerous awards and fellowships, such as the Visvesvaraya Young Research Faculty Fellowship, inclusion in the Golden List of Reviewers for IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, and the Marie Curie Seal of Excellence from the European Commission.

Dr. Majumdar’s research spans semiconductor device modeling, artificial intelligence, device automation, and RF sensor systems. He has actively contributed to the global research community as a Technical Program Committee Member at several IEEE international conferences, and serves as Faculty Advisor for the IEEE CASS–MTT Joint Student Chapter. Beyond academia, he mentors the startup SOIL Agritech Pvt. Ltd.
