Didem Rodoplu Solovchuk is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Health Research Institutes (NHRI), Taiwan, specializing in microfluidic biosensing technologies for rapid bacterial detection and single-bacterium analysis. She holds M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Nanotechnology and Nanomedicine from Hacettepe University, Türkiye, and has been conducting postdoctoral research at NHRI since 2019.

Her research focuses on microfluidic platforms for bacterial analysis, gut microbiota studies, and point-of-care diagnostics through the integration of nano/microengineering and advanced bioanalytical techniques. She has published in leading journals such as Lab on a Chip and Talanta and has received several international awards, including the Merck-Taiwan Young Scientist Award (2023), ISOMRM Young Investigator Award (2025), and ACS LEADS Conference Participation Award (2026).

To date, she has produced over 60 scholarly outputs, including SCI-indexed journal papers, conference abstracts, invited lectures, a Springer book chapter, and a Taiwan patent.
