Ben Niu was born in Shandong Province, China, on 2 May 1982. He received his Ph.D. degree in Control Theory and Control Engineering from Northeastern University in 2013. He is currently a professor at the School of Control Science and Engineering, Dalian University of Technology. His research interests are switched systems, stochastic systems, adaptive control, intelligent control, and their applications.
